About Us

Maggie Murray’s Pub House is named after Gramma Maggie, who moved from Jersey City to a 60-acre farm in New Market near Piscataway’s Westergard Library. Known for her warmth and strong family ties, Maggie was one of nine siblings whose families spread throughout the area.

Chances are you know someone connected to her—names like Murray, Sheenan, Schneider, Nagel, Gray, Brown, Lockwood, Dailey, Shea, Hughenbruch, May, Walker, King, Parenti, Abano, Levidy, and Garcia all trace back to Maggie’s roots.

Today, Maggie’s legacy lives on in the heart of our pub. Whether you’re here for a pint, a laugh, or just good company, we welcome you like family—because that’s how Maggie would’ve wanted it.
